pollution
 Exhaust fumes from vehicle contain:
 Burning of fossil fuel in combustion engines
also release huge amount of carbon dioxide
 When fossil fuel burns, the elements in the
fuels are oxidised
 Human activities also cause smog and hazes
Noise Pollution
 Noise from cars, motorcycles, aeroplanes,
construction site, agricultural and industrial
machinery can cause noise pollution
 Noise level of residental area should not
exceed 55 decibels (dB)
 Excessive exposure to high level of noise is
consider a health risk because noise can
contribute to the development and
aggravation of stess-related problems
 Repetitive or constant exposure of noise can
contribute to deterioration in health
