Settings include the background, atmosphere or environment in which characters live and move, and usually include physical characteristics of the surroundings Includes: Time, Place, Environment, & Mood
SETTING - TIME
Not just the second, the minute, the hour, the day, the week, or year.
Past, Present, or Future? What is going on during this time period? Is it organized in chronological order, or is it out of whack? Are there ashbacks? Are we going throughout someones life or different events? How much time is passing in the story?

Conict is a struggle between two opposing forces. Without a good conict, a story is boring! Conict is hinted at or slowly introduced in the exposition.
