HAND-MOTION CRANE CONTROL USING RADIO FREQUENCY REAL-TIME LOCATION SYSTEMS Abstract:

The Embedded Technology is now in its prime and the wealth of Knowledge available is mind-blowing. Embedded System is a combination of hardware and software. Embedded technology plays a major role in integrating the various functions associated with it. This needs to tie up the various sources of the Department in a closed loop system. This proposal greatly reduces the manpower, saves time and operates efficiently without human interference. Cranes play a key role in maintaining the economic vitality of modern-day industry. Their importance can be seen at shipyards, construction sites, warehouses, and in a wide variety of materialhandling applications. The effectiveness of crane manipulation is an important contributor to industrial productivity, low production costs, and worker safety

Existing System:
In existing system there is no proper method for operating cranes. Fully manual power required. So time is taken to operate cranes. Using this method we can reduces the manpower as well as time also. So we go for proposed system to overcome these problems.

Proposed System:
In this project, we are going to control the robot using rf technology. The rf transmitter is in control section and rf receiver is in robot section. This paper presents a new type of interface that allows operators to drive a crane by simply moving a hand-held device. Here we are using mems accelerometer for control the robot actions. These actions will transmit to the robot section using rf communication. Keypad is interfaced with control section. Using keypad we can control the some robot movements. The commands received by rf receiver based on this commands the robot will act.
