    An Uncommon Frost
    ...Never before had the first frost come so early in the year. Whisperings of a bone-chilling cold sweeping throughout the land already put fear into the hearts of the people. It was not until a messenger spoke of a creeping ice spreading unnaturally across the roads that the heroes took notice. Meeting at Tamalir, the heroes vowed to find the source of this abomination and quell it before all of Terrinoth was covered by this Icy Doom...

    An Uncommon Frost

    Place this card in play at the start of the campaign and read its story text to the heroes. In addition to the normal upgrade that an Overlord can buy each week, he can also spend one Conquest to place an Icy Path token on a trail. Eligible trails are ones adjacent to the Overlords keep or adjacent to another previously iced trail. Lieutenants have their movement increased by one when moving only over Icy Paths. Heroes do not need a boat to cross an Iced river trail.
