1. Describe how a leader can promote moral and ethical behavior and change the group functioning?

WHO IS A LEADER?

A leader is a person who

has a vision, a drive and a commitment to achieve that vision, and the skills to make it happen.

Leaders skill
Effective communication - A leader's communication must move people to work toward the goal.

Motivation - a leader has to be able to motivate everyone to contribute. Each of us has different "buttons". A leader knows how to push the right buttons on everyone to make them really want to do their best to achieve the leader's goal.

Planning - The leaders have to build precise plan to keep everyone moving together toward the goal.

Characteristics of Effective Teams


The team must have a clear goal and everyone knows when the objective has been met. The team must have a results-driven structure. The team should be allowed to operate in a manner that produces results.

The team must have competent team members to tackle arisen problems.

The team must have unified commitment. It means that all individuals must be directing their efforts towards the goal.

Characteristics of Effective Teams


The team must have a collaborative climate. It is a climate of trust produced by honest, open, consistent and respectful behavior.

The team must have high standards that are understood by all. Vague statements such as "positive attitude" and "demonstrated effort" are not good enough.

The team must receive external support and encouragement. Encouragement and praise works just as well in motivating teams as it does with individuals.

The team must have principled leadership to guide for the success

What Is The Contribution Of A Team?


Culture is made up of the values, beliefs, underlying assumptions, attitudes, and behaviors shared by a group of people. Culture is the behavior that results when a group arrives at a set of - generally unspoken and unwritten - rules for working together.

Culture is a word used to describe the behaviors that represent the general operating norms in your environment

Culture is learned
People learn to perform certain behaviors through either the rewards or negative consequences that follow their behavior.

Culture is learned through interaction


Employees learn culture by interacting with other employees.

Subcultures are formed, as people get social rewards from coworkers or have their most important needs met in their departments or project teams.

The resolution of the conflicts:


Manage stress quickly while remaining alert and calm. By staying calm, you can accurately read and interpret verbal and nonverbal communication. Control your emotions and behavior. When youre in control of your emotions, you can communicate your needs without threatening, frightening, or punishing others.

Pay attention to the feelings being expressed as well as the spoken words of others.

Be aware of and respectful of differences. By avoiding disrespectful words and actions, you can almost always resolve a problem faster.

Evolution is a natural process in life. In its survival,

life has developed many functional forms (organisms, species). Each of these forms competes to survive. That competition commonly includes:
