Accommodations: This classroom features children with various learning styles and needs. I will accommodate the early finishers by allowing them to work with others that may take longer time to come up with ideas. The slower paced learners will receive more guidance from myself and their peers to help them reach their highest potential. The visual learners were accommodated by the seeing the ideas of the discussion on chart paper. Auditory learners were accommodated by hearing the different ideas during the group discussion. Kinesthetic learners were accommodated by signing the statement at the end of the lesson. The children who have speech problems were accommodated by receiving help from their classmates and teacher candidate.

References: No references were used during this lesson. Activity Analysis: The activities for this lesson involve the children working together to share ideas about the penalties of not having a government, and voting of a statement to show their appreciation. When the students were sharing ideas about the consequences of not having government, it supports the objective they are working to achieve. The second activity just reinforces what the children should have learned if they achieved the objective. The activities cater to the needs of the children are shy and timid. This allows them to feel more comfortable voicing their opinions with their peers. The majority of them have issues sounding out the letter sounds to spell words, so watching me write the words will help them see how to spell the words accurately. The children can express themselves by voting on a statement they believe is appropriate. This lesson did not implement technology because I wanted to children to come up with their own ideas and work on their interaction with everyone in the class. I used technology for a lot of my lessons and I wanted to add a little variety to my lesson planning.
