Applications are invited from NET/ PhD Entrance Test (PU/PbiU) qualified candidates from the faculty of Life Sciences for filling up One Position of JRF in a UGC Major Research Project at Department of Zoology, SGGS College, Chandigarh. Background Theoretical and Practical Knowledge of Molecular Protocols employed in DNA Isolation, Amplification and Preparations for DNA Sequencing is essential. Besides, knowledge of computers (Excel) and bioinformatics skills will be an added advantage. The project demands collection of insect samples from the field at night time. Adventurous and bold nature of the candidate is desirable. Append application with supporting documents and submit to the undersigned by 10.03.2014 by email or by Regd. /Speed Post or by Hand. Suitable candidates will be called for an interview before a select panel. No TA/DA will be paid.
