Now that you have all of your research and resources AND you have organized your information,

it is time to create the identity of your person living in the civilization. Your task: Create a member of your society. (Including a personal profile, Day in the Life, and life-sized drawing.) Step #1: As a whole group: brainstorm the details of your person (partial list below to get you started) a. Male/Female b. Name/Age c. Position & Social class (wealthy, slave, priest, farmer, etc. Step #2: Decide on how you will include all of the information that you found in your presentation and how you will divide the work among your group members. Everybody needs to be working on AT LEAST one part of your final product.

1. Complete the Personal Profile Form for your person. Make sure that your information is accurate and you have correct spelling, punctuation, capitalization. 2. Have your group members approve the form. If revisions are needed, revise. IF NOT print your final form and attach it to your life-sized drawing. 3. Gather all of the resources from your group members. Double check to make sure that you have everything you need to complete the bibliography. If you do not, get the information from your group members.

1.Complete a rough draft of A Day in the Life for your person. This could be a story, diary entry, detailed schedule, etc Please make sure that you include ACCURATE information about your civilization, include the ENTIRE day, and use details! 2.Have your group members look over your ideas and approve. If they have suggestions for details that you need to add, revise your work and show your group members again. 3. Type up your Day in the Life final draft. Make sure that you have correct spelling, capitalization, and mechanics

1. Draw a rough draft on regular paper of your person and the images/notes that you are going to include in the background. Make sure they have accurate clothing and hairstyle based on your research. Add details to show tools that they would have used, artifacts from their daily life, and other specific details that you can include such as food. In the background, add other illustrations and labels that show other important elements of your civilization. For
example, in one corner you could show the place where the government officials meet and an official with a label that tells what they are called. On the other corner, you could show the temple of your civilization and a priest with a label for the name of the temple and priest.

4. Alphabetize all of your sources by authors last name/company name. 5. Create a blank document in Pages with your group members names at the top left corner and the title Bibliography centered at the top of the page. 6. Use the Citation Machine link at the bottom of the Final Product page on the website to create your bibliography. To start, hit the MLA button in the left column. Find the type of source at the top of the page, and enter the information in the form. Then hit Make Citation Copy the citation and paste it in your document. Continue until you are done with ALL sources. Remember: * Citations should be alphabetized by authors last name/company name.

4. Have your group members look over and approve your work one more time. If revisions are needed, revise. IF NOT print and attach your Day in the Life to your final life-sized drawing of your person.

2. Have your group members look over your rough draft and approve or give suggestions. Revise as needed. 3. Once you have gotten approval, AND CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL OF THE INFROMATION THAT YOU NEED, get a large piece of paper (from the roll of paper), have one of your group members lie down on the paper and trace them. (This will be the beginning of your person) 4. Complete your drawing neatly and with as much ACCURATE detail as possible. Use color! 5. Check with your group members to make sure that you have everything you need.

Final Checks: 1. Make sure that you include all of the details that you discovered from your research. 2. Have all of the group members go over and approve the entire final project 3. Use the scoring checklist to make sure that you have everything
