Dear Parents,
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Ms. Beaird and I will be your childs Kindergarten teacher. I just graduated from Dixie State Universitys Elementary Education Program. This is my first year teacher and I couldnt be more excited. In this classroom I welcome and encourage parental/guardian involvement. I will be sending home a newsletter once a week with some activities we have done and upcoming events. This newsletter will also be posted on our class website. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, comments or concerns. This year we are going to be exploring the alphabet, books, writing, numbers, the different seasons and weather patterns. Students will be sent home with reading books once a week to be read with a parent or guardian. All other work should be completed in class. Occasionally there may be a worksheet to be finished at home. I cant wait to get to know all of your children this school year. We are going to have so much fun learning and growing with each other!
