The Coalition for Homeless Intervention and Prevention to hold annual Homeward Bound

Walk in Indianapolis
Working with others to create an effective approach to ending homelessness.

INDIANAPOLIS (February 25, 2014) The Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and

Prevention in Indianapolis will be hosting their annual Homeward Bound Walk on Saturday, March 8, 2014. This event will be held at the Indianapolis City Market, at 222 East Market Street. The pre-walk activities and registration will start at 1:30 p.m. with the walk starting at 3:00 p.m. Some of the activities include a deejay from Radio Now 100.9 and various guest speakers. There is no cost for this event, but participants are asked to donate a minimum $25 in exchange for a commemorative t-shirt. CHIP Indy strives to stop the spread of homelessness by helping organizations who help the homeless. Some of the organizations that benefit from this event are Aspire Indiana, Family Promise and Horizon House. CHIP also hosts various fundraisers throughout the year to help support themselves and other organizations.
