the end of the semester.

II. Knowledge of Content Goal:
a. I will challenge students with material taken from the Silver-Burdett
Making Music books and music taken from JW Pepper. I will choose
repertoire that will correlate with their set grade and talent levels that
challenge them in correspondence with the National and State standards.
Procedure:
I will accomplish this goal by doing extensive research with pieces and choosing
warm-ups that challenge and encourage learning with the students. I will also give pre-
tests of the information that is in correlation with the standards and assess at the end of
the unit with a test and compare results. There will be many informal aural tests of
matching pitch, making chords by listening and fallowing music outside of harmonies.

Evaluation:
I will evaluate this goal by aligning the pre-tests with the tests and seeing what
was absorbed by the students and what was not. The High School students will be

the outcome of their concerts and test results.
