Da,idson County Health De*artment today announced Central United Methodist Church will
host Step-Up Saints Eat Smart, Move More Health Fair. .he health fair will take *lace on June
8 from 8am'&*m.
Mrs. Herbert said not only will this be an o**ortunity for 6frican 6mericans to ha,e a health
assessment but also +i,e indi,iduals an o**ortunity to discuss their assessment results with
*rofessionals. .he assessment will include blood *ressure check +lucose !su+ar$ le,els and
cholesterol le,els all which are risk factor for heart disease. .he health fair will also start the
con,ersation on how to *re,ent heart disease in the 6frican 6merican community throu+h
