TEACHING EXPERIENCE
E.L. Haynes PCS (2004 Present) Lead Pre-School Teacher
Created and executed rigorous lesson plans across all disciplines for kindergarten and pre-k students with
classes ranging in size from 20 to 25 using appropriate common core content standards. Additional
responsibilities include:
Tutored and mentored students and administered reading fluency assessments;
Led, trained and mentored four assistant teachers that assisted in the classroom;
Conducted parent conferences to effectively communicate students progress;
Effectively maintained interest and provided interactive atmosphere, enabling students to
significantly hone learning skills;
Instituted positive classroom management strategies and disciplinary programs that effectively
handled challenging behaviors;

Service Learning Trips- My pre-k children have gone to the zoo and cleaned cages, gone to elderly homes
and read to the elderly, gone to deliver sandwiches to food pantries and gone to help clean up the blocks
around our school to be positive community members. 2005-now
