THIS EQUIPMENT IS SOLD BY A.R.E. INDUSTRIES UNDER THE WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THE
FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH.SUCH WARRANTY IS EXTENDED ONLY TO THE BUYER WHO PURCHASES THE
EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY FROM A.R.E. INDUSTRIES OR ITS AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR AS NEW
MERCHANDISE.

THIS EQUIPMENT, OTHER THAN ITS EXPENDABLE PARTS, IS WARRANTED BY A.R.E. INDUSTRIES TO BE
FREE FROM MANUFACTURING DEFECTS FOR 1 YEAR AFTER DELIVERY BY A.R.E. INDUSTRIES PROVIDED
THAT THE SAME IS PROPERLY OPERATED UNDER CONDITIONS OF NORMAL USE AND THAT REGULAR
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE IS PERFORMED OR REPLACEMENTS MADE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED. EXPENDABLE PARTS OF THIS EQUIPMENT ARE WARRANTED TO BE FREE
FROM MANUFACTURING DEFECTS AT THIS TIME OF DELIVERY BY A.R.E
INDUSTRIES. A.R.E INDUSTRIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR SPECIAL
DAMAGES.


THE FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY IF THE EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO ABUSE
MISUSE, NEGLIGENCE, OR ACCIDENT, OR IF THE EQUIPMENT IS USED WITH OTHER THAT A.R.E.
INDUSTRIES REPLACEMENT PARTS. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE
DESCRIPTION OF THIS EQUIPMENT CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL, OTHER THAN THE FOREGOING

BE CHECKED PERIODICALLY AND REPAIRED, REPLACED, OR RESET AS NECESSARY FOR CONTINUED SAFE
AND RELIABLE PERFORMANCE.DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT SHOULD NOT BE USED.PARTS THAT ARE BROKEN,
MISSING, PLAINLY WORN OR DISTORTED SHOULD BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY WITH PARTS THAT ARE

OF THIS MACHINE. ITS PURPOSE ASIDE FROM PROPER MAINTENANCE AND
OPERATION IS TO PROMOTE SAFETY THROUGH THE USE OF ACCEPTED PRACTICE.

IN ORDER TO OBTAIN MAXIMUM LIFE AND EFFICIENCY FROM YOUR MACHINE, FOLLOW ALL THE

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. READ UNDERSTAND AND FOLLOW THE SAFETY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOUND IN THIS
MANUAL. KNOW THE LIMITATIONS AND HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH OPERATING THE MACHINE.

2. EYE SAFETY; WEAR AN APPROVED SAFETY FACE SHIELD OR GOGGLES OR SAFETY GLASSES TO
PROTECT EYES WHEN OPERATING THE MACHINE.

3. GROUNDING THE MACHINE: MACHINES EQUIPPED WITH THE PRONG GROUNDING PLUGS ARE SO
EQUIPPED FOR YOUR PROTECTION AGAINST SHOCK HAZARDS AND SHOULD BE PLUGGED DIRECTLY
INTO PROPERLY GROUNDED THREE PRONG RECEPTACLES IN ACCORDANCE WITH NATIONS ELECTRICAL
CODES AND LOCAL CODES AND ORDINANCES. A GROUNDING ADAPTER MAY BE USED.
IF ONE IS USED, THE GREEN LEAD SHOULD BE SECURELY CONNECTED TO A SUITABLE ELECTRICAL
GROUND SUCH AS A GROUND WIRE SYSTEM. DO NOT CUT OFF THE GROUNDING PRONG OR USE AN
ADAPTER WITH THE GROUNDING PRONG REMOVED.

4. WORK AREA: KEEP THE FLOOR AROUND THE MACHINE CLEAN AND FREE OF TOOLS, TOOLING, STOCK
SCRAP AND OTHER FOREIGN MATERIAL AND OIL, GREASE OR COOLANT TO MINIMIZE THE DANGER OF
TRIPPING OR SLIPPING A.R.E RECOMMENDS THE USE OF ANTI-SKID FLOOR STRIPS ON THE FLOOR AREA
WHERE THE OPERATOR NORMALLY STANDS AND THAT EACH MACHINE'S WORK AREA BE MARKED OFF.
MAKE CERTAIN THE WORK AREA IS WELL LIGHTED AND VENTILATED. PROVIDE FOR ADEQUATE WORK
SPACE AROUND THE MACHINE.

5. GUARDS: KEEP ALL MACHINE GUARDS IN PLACE AT ALL TIMES WHEN MACHINE IS IN USE.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE THE MACHINE WITH THE DOOR OPEN; THE SAFETY SWITCH HAS BEEN
INSTALLED IN THE DOOR FOR YOUR PROTECTION. KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED EXCEPT TO LOAD &UNLOAD.

6. DO NOT OVER REACH: MAINTAIN BALANCED STANCE AND KEEP YOUR BODY UNDER CONTROL AT ALL
TIMES.

7. HAND SAFETY: KEEP HANDS AWAY FROM MOVING PARTS WHEN THE MACHINE IS UNDER POWER.

8. MACHINE CAPACITY: DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE MACHINE BEYOND ITS STATED CAPACITY OR
OPERATIONS. THIS TYPE USE WILL REDUCE THE PRODUCTIVE LIFE OF THE MACHINE AND CAUSE THE
BREAKAGE OF PARTS, WHICH COULD RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.

9. AVOID ACCIDENTAL STARTING: MAKE CERTAIN THE MAIN SWITCH IS IN THE "OFF" POSITION BEFORE
CONNECTING POWER TO THE MACHINE.

10. CARELESS ACTS: GIVE THE WORK YOU ARE DOING YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION. LOOKING AROUND,
CARRYING ON A CONVERSATION, AND HORSEPLAY ARE CARELESS ACTS THAT CAN
RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.

11. JOB COMPLETIONS: IF THE OPERATION IS COMPLETE, THE MACHINE SHOULD BE EMPTIED AND THE
WORK AREA CLEANED AND FLOOR SWEPT.

12. DISCONNECT ALL POWER SOURCES TO MACHINE BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE OR
MAINTENANCE

13. REPLACEMENT PARTS: USE ONLY A.R.E. REPLACEMENT PARTS AND ACCESSORIES, OTHERWISE
WARRANTY WILL BE NULL OR VOID.


14. MISUSE: DO NOT USE THE MACHINE FOR OTHER THAN ITS INTENDED USE. IF USED FOR OTHER
PURPOSES A.R.E. DISCLAIMS ANY REAL OR IMPLIED WARRANTY AND HOLDS ITSELF HARMLESS FOR ANY
INJURY OR LOSS THAT MAY RESULT FROM SUCH USE.

WARNINGS

1. DO NOT USE CHILLED SHOT IN YOUR BLASTER.

2. NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM AMPERAGE RATING FOR THE MODEL NUMBER OF YOUR BLASTER.

3. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE THE BLASTER WITH THE DOOR OPEN.

4. BE CERTAIN ANY PARTS TO BE PLACED AND CLEANED IN THE BLASTER ARE DRY.

LOCATION SELECTION

YOUR A.R.E. SHOT BLASTER IS BUT ONE STEP OF THE OVERALL CLEANING PROCESS.CONSIDER ITS
LOCATION CAREFULLY IN REGARDS TO THE GENERAL FLOW OF PARTS TO AVOID BOTTLENECKS AND
UNNECESSARY HANDLING.

1. ALLOW AT LEAST 30" OF CLEARANCE ON THE DUST COLLECTOR SIDE FOR INSTALLATION AND
MAINTENANCE.

2. INSTALL ONLY ON A LEVEL FLOOR.

3. CONSIDER THE ACCESS TO OVERHEAD CRANE OR HOIST.

4. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CLEARANCE FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

AFTER UNCRATING, CHECK FOR HIDDEN DAMAGE. IF ANY IS FOUND
CONTACT YOUR CARRIER IMMEDIATELY.

1. PLACE THE SHOT BLASTER IN ITS PRE-DETERMINED LOCATION AND LEVEL, USING SHIMS AS NEEDED,
SO THAT IT HAS SOLID 4 POINT CONTACT WITH THE FLOOR.

ELECTRICAL

YOUR A.R.E. SHOT BLASTER COMES PRE-WIRED READY TO BE CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE.
HOWEVER, ANY CONNECTION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN AND BE TO NATIONAL AND
LOCAL CODES. THIS SERVICE MUST BE TO A SEPARATE CIRCUIT BREAKER OR FUSE.

NOTE: CHECK VOLTAGE INPUT TAGS ON BLASTER TO BE SURE IT MATCHES YOUR SERVICE.

CAUTION: BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO TEST RUN THE BLASTER, FIRST FIMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH ALL
THE CONTROLS, METER, AND SWITCHES.








CONTROLS, METER, SWITCHES
TIMER

YOUR SHOT BLASTER IS EQUIPPED WITH A 1 TO 30 MINUTE TIMER WHICH SWITCHES OFF THE
ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE IMPELLER MOTOR AT THE END OF THE PRESET RUN TIME.

1. ALL THAT IS REQUIRED TO SET THE TIME IS TO TURN THE KNOB TO THE DESIRED RUN TIME
THROUGH 5 MIN THEN SET THE TIME.

DUST COLLECTOR & BASKET SWITCH

THE FUNCTION OF THIS SWITCH IS TO START OR STOP DUST COLLECTOR & BASKET

1. TO START, PUSH THE UPPER (GREEN) BUTTON.

2. TO STOP PUSH THE LOWER (RED) BUTTON.

BLASTER SWITCH

THE BLASTER SWITCH TURNS THE POWER ON / OFF TO THE MOTOR THAT ROTATES THE
IMPELLER.

2. TO START THE IMPELLER, SET TIMER, PUSH, THE UPPER (GREEN) BUTTON.

2. TO STOP THE IMPELLER PUSH THE LOWER (RED) BUTTON.

CAUTION: THIS MACHINE IS EQUIPPED WITH AN INTERLOCK SAFETY SWITCH THAT PREVENTS THE
IMPELLER MOTORS FROM STARTING WHEN THE DOOR IS OPEN. (NEVER) ATTEMPT TO BY-PASS THIS
IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE.

AMPMETER

THIS METER IS USED TO MONITOR THE OPERATIONAL LOAD LEVEL OF THE BLASTER. THE
AMPERAGE WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE UNTIL ALL OF THE SHOT IS CIRCULATING.

PRE-USE TESTING

YOUR SHOT BLASTER IS NOW READY FOR USE. HOWEVER, WE DO RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING TESTS
BE PERFORMED PRIOR TO ACTUAL USE.

1. CHECK THE ROTATION OF BOTH THE DUST COLLECTOR BLOWER AND THE IMPELLERS. THE BLOWER
ROTATION IS CLOCKWISE AND THE IMPELLER ROTATION IS COUNTER CLOCKWISE
YOUR SHOT BLASTER WAS THOROUGHLY TESTED PRIOR TO BEING SHIPPED
THUS IF THE ROTATION OF ONE IS INCORRECT BOTH WILL BE SIMPLY REVERSE ANY TWO INCOMING
WIRES TO CHANGE THE ROTATION (3 pH ONLY)

2. AFTER 1 MINUTE OF OPERATION CHECK THE AMPERAGE LOAD ON THE METERS, IF THE READING IS
HIGHER THAN REQUIRED, REMOVE SHOT. IF IT IS LOWER, ADD SHOT AND TO ADD SHOT LOAD THROUGH
THE CATCH TRAY BELOW THE DOOR.

CAUTION: DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR UNTIL ALL SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN SHUT OFF

HELPFUL HINTS

1. DEGREASE PARTS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO BLAST PARTS. GREASY PARTS WILL GUM UP AND JAM THE
SHOT

2. USE ONLY NON-CHILLED SHOT. (170 STEEL SHOT FOR ALUMINUM AND FOR STEEL PARTS 230-280)

3. DON'T CHEAT ON SAFETY DEVICES THEY ARE THERE FOR YOU PROTECTION.

4. IF IN DOUBT DON'T DO IT!!!
MAINTENANCE

YOUR A.R.E. BLASTER IS DESIGNED AS A MINIMAL MAINTENANCE PRODUCT HOWEVER SOME BASIC
MAINTENANCE WILL ASSURE THAT IT WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE IN A SATISFACTORY MANNER.

1. SHAKE DUST FROM THE DUST COLLECTOR BAG AFTER EACH 4 HOURS OF OPERATION.

2. CHECK AND EMPTY DUST COLLECTOR TRAY DAILY.

3. CHECK HOPPER FOR OBJECTS THAT MAY HAVE FALLEN THROUGH ON A DAILY BASIS

4. CHECK IMPELLER BLADES FOR WEAR AND / OR DAMAGE EVERY 3 MONTHS
(REPLACE BROKEN BLADES IMMEDIATELY)

5. CHECK BELTS FOR WEAR AND TENSION EVERY 3 MONTHS.

6. LUBRICATE THE IMPELLER BEARINGS EVERY 6 MONTHS AND THE BASKET BEARING ANNUALLY.
(DO NOT OVER LUBRICATE)

7. CHECK SPEED REDUCER OIL LEVEL ANNUALLY (ADD AS NECESSARY)

8. REPLACE DUST COLLECTOR BAGS EVERY 2 YEARS.

9. ONE SET OF IMPELLER BLADES SHOULD BE KEPT ON HAND AT ALL TIMES!!

DIRECTIONAL MAINTENANCE

BEARINGS:
LUBRICATE IMPELLER BEARINGS EVERY 6 MONTHS. 1 TO 3 PUMPS (DO NOT OVER LUBRICATE)
LUBRICATE BASKET BEARINGS ANNUALLY 1TO 3 PUMPS (DO NOT OVER LUBRICATE)

REPLACING BEARINGS:
1. REPLACE ONE BEARING AT A TIME.
2. LOOSEN SET SCREWS AND ECCENTRIC LOCKS. (ECCENTRIC LOCKS WILL LOOSEN IF TAPPED IN
DIRECTION OPPOSITE OF ROTATION)
3. REMOVE BEARING BOLTS.
4. REMOVE BEARING AND ALL SEAL PLATES.
5. INSPECT SHAFT SURFACE FOR WEAR.
6. CAREFULLY SLIDE ON NEW SEAL PLATES WITH NEW SEALS.
7. SLOTS IN SEAL PLATES FACE AWAY FROM THE CABINET AND DOWN.
8. SLIDE ON BEARING.
9. TIGHTEN BOLTS AND ALL SET SCREWS
10. IF BEARING HAS ECCENTRIC LOCK, TAP ECCENTRIC IN DIRECTION OF ROTATION TO LOCK
ECCENTRIC IN PLACE. TIGHTEN SET SCREWS.

BELT TENSION:
MOVE BELT IN A VERTICAL DIRECTION. MOVEMENT SHOULD BE ABOUT 3/4 TO 1" FROM A
HORIZONTAL POSITION (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN)

IMPELLER BLADES:
1. CHECK IMPELLER BLADES EVERY 3 MONTHS.
2. PARTIALLY WORN BLADES MAY BE TURNED OVER FOR LONGER LIFE. (FOLLOW DIRECTIONS FOR
BLADE REPLACEMENT)
3. BROKEN BLADES SHOULD BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY.

SHOT DEFLECTOR:
1. CHECK MONTHLY FOR EXCESSIVE WEAR.
2. REPLACE WORN DEFLECTOR IMMEDIATELY.




CABINET WEAR:

1. CHECK INSIDE CABINET FOR WEAR EVERY 3 MONTHS.

2. COVER WEAR AREAS WITH RUBBER OR URETHANE TO PREVENT HOLES IN THE CABINET.

BASKET WEAR

1. CHECK BASKET MONTHLY FOR WEAR.

2. REPLACE BASKET WHEN SCREENS CRACK OR WEAR THRU.

3. REPLACE BASKET WHEN END PLATES SHOW EXCESSIVE WEAR FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL ALLOW
PARTS TO FALL FROM THE BASKET INTO THE IMPELLER BLADES CAUSING MORE DAMAGE



BLADE REPLACEMENT

1. ALWAYS REPLACE BLADES IN A SET. (NEVER REPLACE ONE BLADE)

2. REMOVE BLADE BOLTS ONE AT A TIME.

3. IF REPLACING BROKEN BLADES MAKE SURE ALL BROKEN PIECES ARE REMOVED FROM WHEEL
WELL

4. CLEAN BOLT HOLES BEFORE REPLACING BLADES.

5. FILE ALL KNICKED AREAS FLAT.

6. POSITION NEW BLADES AND TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS SECURELY.

DUST COLLECTOR

1. SHAKE DUST COLLECTOR HANDLE 5-6 TIMES DAILY WHEN MACHINE IS NOT RUNNING.

2. OPEN BOTTOM DOOR AND REMOVE DUST EVERY OTHER DAY.

3. REPLACE BAGS EVERY 2 YEARS.






















THE BLASTER

THE BLASTER IS AN AIRLESS SHOT BLAST MACHINE DESIGNED FOR QUALITY CLEANING, WELDED
ASSEMBLIES, FORGINGS, AND DEBURRING. CLEANING IS ACCOMPLISHED BY TUMBLING THE PARTS IN A
SHOT BLAST ENVIRONMENT. A MOTOR DRIVEN PADDLE WHEEL TYPE IMPELLER BLASTS THE ABRASIVE
MATERIAL AGAINST THE PARTS. THE ABRASIVE MATERIAL IS CONSTANTLY REUSED AS IT FALLS BACK
INTO THE IMPELLER PLATES TO ASSURE COMPLETE UNIFORMITY AND THOROUGHNESS OF THE
CLEANING ACTION. A VARIETY OF SURFACE FINISHING MAY BE OBTAINED BY THE ABRASIVE GRIT OR
SHOT SELECTED.
THE BLASTER IS OPERATED WITH A DUST COLLECTOR WHICH REMOVES ALL SCALE DUST, SAND
PAINT AND RUST FROM THE BLASTER CHAMBER DURING THE CLEANING OPERATION. WHEN THE

COLLECTOR.

THE DUST COLLECTOR IS NORMALLY SET ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BLASTER NEXT TO THE VENT
CONNECTION, ALTHOUGH IT CAN BE PLACED IN ANY LOCATION. THE DUST COLLECTOR IS CONNECTED
TO THE BLASTER WITH A RUBBER HOSE.

CHECK THE PADDLE WHEEL INSIDE THE BLASTER TO INSURE THAT IT IS FREE TO TURN AND THAT NO
PARTICLES OR WATER IS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE WHEEL WELL.

CHECK THE IMPELLER AND DUST COLLECTOR FOR PROPER ROTATION. THE IMPELLER SHOULD
ROTATE SO THAT THE SHOT WOULD BE THROWN TO THE END OF THE WHEEL WITH THE DEFLECTOR
THE DUST COLLECTOR BLADES SHOULD ROTATE TO THROW THE AIR OUT THE EXIT VENT. SOME AIR
WILL BE THROWN OUT EVEN WHEN RUNNING BACKWARDS. REMOVE TAPE FROM ALL THE AIR INLETS.

WHILE THE BLASTER IS RUNNING ADD SHOT OR GRIT IN AIR INTAKES OF BLASTER UNTIL THE AMP
METER REACHES THE REQUIRED OPERATIONAL LEVEL.












BLASTER OPERATION

DO NOT USE CHILLED SHOT IN THE BLASTER AS IT CAUSES SEVERE WEAR PROBLEMS (S-170, S-230
OR S-280) STEEL SHOT ONLY.

DO NOT BLAST GREASY PARTS AS THIS WILL GUM UP AND DIRTY THE SHOT ALL PARTS MUST BE
DEGREASED BEFORE BEING BLASTED.

CHECK BOTH CATCH SCREENS OCCASIONALLY FOR ANY PARTS THAT MAY HAVE FALLEN
THROUGH THE BASKET.

OPEN BLASTER DOORS AND ROTATE BASKET DOOR TO THE FRONT LOADING POSITION DO NOT
OPERATE BLAST IMPELLER WITH DOOR OPEN.

PUT ONLY PARTS IN BASKET THAT WILL NOT FALL THROUGH THE SCREEN SMALL PARTS SHOULD
BE PLACED IN THE SMALL PARTS BASKET. FILL THE MAIN BASKET PLUS FULL, TO KEEP PARTS FROM
DROPPING AND DAMAGING BASKET.

SET TIMER TO DESIRED OPERATION DURATION (THE TIMER MUST BE SET BEFORE THE
BLASTIMPELLER WILL OPERATE) MAKE SURE ALL DOORS ARE CLOSED AND THEN START THE MOTORS

AFTER ONE MINUTE OF OPERATION, CHECK TO SEE IF THE AMP METER IS AT THE DESIRED
OPERATIONAL LEVEL THE AMP METER GRADUALLY BUILDS UP UNTIL ALL THE SHOT IS IN CIRCULATION

LET THE BASKET AND DUST COLLECTOR RUN A FEW MINUTES AFTER THE TIMER HAS SHUT THE
BLASTER OFF THIS ALLOWS THE SHOT AND DUST TO TUMBLE OUT OF THE PARTS.

DUST COLLECTOR OPERATION

SHAKE DUST FROM COLLECTOR BAG EVERY 4 HOURS OF OPERATION BY SHAKING THE HANDLE AT THE
TOP OF THE DUST COLLECTOR. THE DUST COLLECTOR MUST BE TURNED OFF AND THE FUNNEL PLATE
MUST BE REMOVED FOR EMPTYING.

SAFETY

DO NOT START OR OPERATE THE BLASTER WITH ANY DOOR OPEN OR UNLATCHED

DO NOT CLEAN PARTS THAT WILL FALL THROUGH THE BASKET SCREEN.

DO NOT CLEAN GLASS OR OTHER BRITTLE MATERIAL.

DO NOT OPERATE BLASTER ABOVE THE RATED OPERATING AMPERAGE.

DO NOT OPERATE THE BLASTER WITH OBJECTS IN THE IMPELLER HOPPER.

DO NOT BLAST PARTS WET WITH SOLVENT AS SPARKS COULD IGNITE THE FUMES AND WOULD
BURN UP THE DUST COLLECTOR BAGS.














REPLACEMENT

BEARINGS, SEALS, SHAFTS MAKE SURE THE BEARING ECCENTRIC LOCK IS LOOSED BEFORE TRYING TO
REMOVE BEARINGS OR SHAFT. BE SURE THE SLOTTED GROOVES ON THE SEAL PLATES ARE TURNED
DOWN SO THAT THE SHOT IS FREE TO DROP OUT.

BLADES MAKE SURE ALL BROKEN PARTS ARE REMOVED FROM WHEEL WELL WHEN REPLACING.
BLADES. USING A SOCKET, REMOVE THE (3) BOLTS FROM EACH BLADE. MAKE SURE THE HOLES ARE FREE
FROM SHOT BEFORE REPLACING NEW BOLTS.

WELL INSERTS REMOVE THE CATCH SCREENS CLEANOUT PLATES. AND SHOT FROM SIDES TO THE
BLASTER. REMOVE THE BOLTS AND SLIDE IN THE NEW WEAR PLATES.

TUMBLER BASKET REPLACEMENT SECURE A MEANS OF REMOVING THE BASKET PREFERABLY A
FORKLIFT ALTHOUGH SEVERAL 4 X 4 TIMBERS WITH 2 OR 3 MEN MAY BE USED ALSO, CUT SHAFTS OFF
ALLOWING THE BASKET TO DROP FREE. REMOVE PULLEY ASSEMBLY AND REPLACE NEW SHAFTS. NEW
SEALS SHOULD BE INSERTED AND THE BEARING CHECKED BE SURE TO LOOSEN BEARING LOCK BEFORE
TRYING TO REMOVE SHAFT MAKE SURE THAT WHEN TIGHTENING THE 2 BOLTS ON THE BASKET
SHAFT COLLAR THE BOLTS ARE ON THE 2 GROUND PLATES ON THE SHAFTS.
