Setting up connection to the Internet through

ROCKSTAR V121

In order to connect your computer to the Internet through ROCKSTAR V121 using cable as a
connection between the computer and the phone, you should first connect mobile with computer
via data cable.


Download drivers from http://www.mtsindia.in/, install drivers for modem.

Steps to Install Modem Driver:
1. Connect Mobile to PC/Laptop
2. Windows will display


3. PC will display device driver software installation progress.


4. Select Manage from start menu as like below.





5. Select Device Manager, it will display.


6. Double click Qualcomm CDMA technologies MSM and select update Driver.



7. Select Browse My Computer for driver software.


8. Browse driver path to folder in which driver saved by you and select Next, your PC may display
like below then select Install the driver software anyway.

9. Window will start installing driver.



10. Windows will install driver successfully.


Steps to Make Dial up Connection:
1. After devices have been joined, you should set up parameters for the connection to the
Internet. Choose in the Control Panel, under Network and Internet Option, Network and
Sharing centre.



2. Select Setup a new connection or network.


3. Select Setup a dial connection.





4. Select Qualcomm HS-USB Modem 9004.


5. Enter following details:
Dial up Phone Number: #777
User name: internet@internet.mtsindia.in
Password: MTS
Connection Name: MTS_Internet

6. Select Connect


7. You are connected to internet successfully.





8. To Connect and disconnect in future, Please do like below screen.
