Students taking HS293 will engage important questions about America’s rise to the status of global superpower, the world wars, the Cold War, the nation’s relationships with its allies as well as its complex economic, diplomatic, cultural, and military adventures throughout the world, with a particular emphasis on Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean islands, and Central America.
