One year ago, a US teenager allegedly afflicted with affluenza,

which is a brand new form of disease only recently discovered

in the US, reckless caused the deaths of four innocent people.
The teenager surnamed Couch, from the state of Teas in the
southern US, caused those deaths by ploughing into a group of
people while driving his father!s pickup truck on "#

in (ort )orth. Two other people were very seriously in*ured.

$une %&"', Couch stepped outside his home and drove
away in his father!s luurious truck and fetched some friends
for a brief *oyride before deciding to stop at a local sundry
store to steal several cans of beer.
+fter consuming the stolen beer and getting intoicated, Couch
drove his vehicle in ecess of the speed limit along a street in
(ort )orth and crashed into several people who were tending
to a broken down car. (our of them were killed. Two of his
friends were thrown out of Couch!s pickup truck with one of
them seriously in*ured now confirmed as being fully paralysed
from the neck down.

probation with no *ail time after his lawyer successfully argued
that he was a victim of -affluenza! which was brought about by
his family!s etreme wealth plus his very spoilt upbringing.
