Comments:
Jenna makes a concerted effort to make subject matter comprehensible to students. Her lessons are "hands on",
engaging and interdisciplinary. Her instructional strategies are appropriate for language learners as well as advanced
students.

Comments:
Jenna continues to develop in the area of assessment. Although she plans formal assessment goals, they tend to be
summative in nature. However, she is developing well in the area of informal assessments, and utilizes them to guide
her ongoing practice. She is also working on having students look at their own work and those of their peers to assess
next steps in their learning.
Domain C: Engaging and Supporting All Students in Learning - TPE 4, TPE 5, TPE 6, TPE 7

Comments:
Jenna is very thoughtful and responsive regarding student feedback. She utilizes comments and questions from her
students and builds upon them as the lesson progresses. She consistently uses the prior knowledge and background of
students to help them connect to new learning. She consistently engages students to think critically and problem solve
issues.

Comments:
Jenna consistently does a good job of planning lessons that meet the needs of all of her students. Her lessons have
clearly articulated goals and show progression that facilitates student learning. Many of her lessons build upon the
interests and background knowledge of her students, to make instruction meaningful.

Comments:
Jenna consistently does a good job of maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to learning. She has
established a good rapport with her students, and has created a learning community that is respectful and cooperative.

in the school setting.

Comments:
Jenna continues to develop as a professional, social justice educator. She implements suggestions given to her, and
reflects on her practice. She is always looking to improve and is curious about new ideas that may benefit her students
and the community.
