A CHECK REQUEST can be copied from an Excel workbook to a new tab. You can Rename the tab to reflect the check you are requesting. When you get the check, make sure to record the amount in your timesheet.
1. Start by opening your check request Excel workbook.
2. Right click on the tab of the previous check request (if any) or TEMPLATE you want to copy.
3. Select Move or Copy CHECK REQUEST
4. Make sure to click Create a copy and click OK. (A new tab should appear at the bottom of your workbook named the same as the tab you copied, but with a (2) at the end)
5. Go to the new tab and right-click. Select the Rename option. 6. You will now be able to change the text of the tab. 7. Rename the tab to reflect the check you are requesting.
8. Fill out the required information in the form
9. Print page to PDF and save (usually in the folder with the application workpapers) and save a copy for your records for your timesheet. Email the check request (PDF) to Flatrock.accounting@flatrockenergy.net
10. When you get the check, make sure to record the amount in your timesheet.
