FOLDER ACCESS SPEED

Start->Run->regedit->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Current Control
Set\Control\File System->Right click on blank area on right
pane & select DWORD Value->Create a new DWORD value called
NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate->Right click on the new value->
Select Modify->Change the value Data to 1 & click on OK.
BOOT FASTER
Start->Run->regedit->OK->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft
\Dfrg\Boot\Optimize Function->Enable it by changing the value
to 'Y' & Reboot.
SHUTDOWN SPEED
Start->Run->regedit->OK->HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\
Desktop->WaitToKillAppTimeout->Right click->Select Modify->
change the value to 1000->click OK.
Select HungAppTimeout->Right click->Select Modify->change the
value to 1000->click OK.
Find HKEY_USERS\DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop->Choose Waitto
KillAppTimeout->Right click->Select Modify->change the value
to 1000->click OK.
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Current Control Set\Control->
Select Waitto KillServiceTimeout->Right click->Select Modify
->change the value to 1000->click OK.
LOAD MENU QUICKER
Start->Run->regedit->OK->HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\
Desktop->Click MenuShowDelay->Right click->Select Modify->
Change to 100.
SPEEDUP SWAP FILE
Start->Run->MSCONFIG->OK->System.ini->expand'386enh' by
clicking + sign->New->In the blank dialog box type
"ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1->OK->Reboot.
