As part of this years Elsewhere season, Ill be directing a reading of an original script.

Im looking for two

men and two women to help with this project!

The reading will take place in the Heskett on Monday, October 27
th
at 8 PM. Rehearsals will be minimal
and can be tailored to the schedules of those involved.

The script:
How do the tales we tell aboutand withinour relationships affect the way we view the world? Who is
granted the ability to create those narratives to begin with?

The stories we construct and embody with regards to gender, sexuality, power, and intimacy are explored
through the parallel narratives of two couples: modern-day lovers Gideon and Emma, and King Louis XV
of France and his beloved mistress Madame De Pompadour.

Casting:
GIDEON, a professor in his forties
EMMA, a grad student in her twenties
LOUIS XV (LOUIS), the King of France
MADAME DE POMPADOUR (MME), Louis mistress
