to look for the main

doctor in the morning.
Its a lifelong process
to abstain from that
one drink because that
one will never be
enough.
Alcoholism.about.com
states that alcoholism
has four symptoms.

C. Application
The students will be asked to group into two and they will arrange the
words according to their order of occurrence in the reading process.
With the same group, the students will be asked to find the main idea of
the five paragraphs and after ten minutes, a representative of the group
will write their answers on the board.

PARAGRAPH 1

Planet Earth has three principal climactic zones. The tropical zone has the
warmest climate because it is located near the equator. Meanwhile, the temperature zones
have four seasons in the year; spring, summer, autumn and winter. Countries in the polar
zones are extremely cold and are covered with ice for the whole year.

Answer: Planet Earth has three principal climactic zone

PARAGRAPH 2

Trees give us food, shelter, lumber, medicine, and many other useful things. They
give us paper for our books, our notebooks and our writing pads. They also protect the
soil, so it can store water. They make the forest healthy so animals and other plants can
grow. Trees are very useful to us.

Answer: Trees are very useful to us.

PARAGRAPH 3

A common occurrence among adults is low back pain. Four out of five adults
develop this condition at least once in their lifetime, which can be so uncomfortable that
they miss work, lose sleep, and generally feel incapable of engaging in daily activities.
Many of the adults who have this condition will experience these effects two to three
times per year.

Answer: A common occurrence among adults is low back pain

PARAGRAPH 4

You should do your own homework. Copying someone else is illegal, and you
can get a failing grade or even be kicked out of school. If you cheat on your job, you can
be fired or arrested and put into jail; the government will certainly find you if you cheat
on your taxes! Copying someone elses homework also means that you never learn how
to do that work for yourself, so when you need the information later (lets say the teacher
actually gives you a test on it where you cant copy!) then you dont know how to do it
and you get another bad grade. Also, if you dont do your homework, you never learn
how to discipline yourself to do things like your job, paying your bills, and saving
money. In short, doing your own homework is the best way to go!
Answer: You should do your own homework
PARAGRAPH 5

The Truth in Lending Law of 1969 was a landmark piece of legislation. For the
first time, creditors were required to state the cost of borrowing as a dollar amount so that
consumers would know exactly what the credit charges were and thus could compare
credit costs and shop for credit.

Answer: The Truth in Lending Law of 1969 was a landmark piece of legislation
