Reminders for all of you
The final days of the TER face to face are next
week - 2 and 3 October.
All teachers who have completed practicum
should have their Associate Teacher GTS form
completed and submitted by the end of this
week.
Congratulations to those of you who have
portfolios well on the way including quality
reflections on your teaching practices while on
practicum. We will ask all of you to share your
portfolios during the face to face session so
please be prepared.
Natasha has been linking all her portfolio
entries to the GTS to ensure she is meeting all
requirements - a great way to go!!
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the
face to face. Remember that this is a
compulsory part of your TER programme.

Looking forward
It is now a really good time to check your
module requirements and ensure you are on
track.
Module 1 requirements should be close to
completion by now, reflections should be
continuing and Module 3 should be well
underway or completed. The next step is to get
into those final modules - one compulsory for
secondary teachers and one option for primary.

How do we think about children? Not using
deficit thinking. Having a belief in our priority
learners. As Colleen says "So what?" what are
you, as the teacher, going to do about it.
There is a wealth of excellent resources
available in regards to the curriculum and,
teaching and learning.

Knowing and understanding the overall

students. Bearing in mind that the students are
the centre of the teaching-learning, this is where
the pedagogies come in and it will help me
