The Town Hall is not available due to voting on Tuesday.
Model Rocket Competition The NH Wing Model Rocket Competition will be held on 8 November 2014 at
the New Hampshire National Guard Center Strafford Training Site. The sign in table opens at 0730 and the
event begins at 0830. An email will be sent out within the next few days to ask cadets to confirm if they will be
attending. If a parent or SM is available to carpool or if a cadet needs transportation, please contact Lt
Smarzynski or SM Robinson.
Veterans Day We will be participating in the Veterans Day parade in North Conway on 11 November.
Cadets will march in the parade and lead the pledge of allegiance during the ceremony at Schouler Park. The
North Conway American Legion is very supportive of our squadron and we hope to have as many cadets as
possible participate in the parade to show our support of the Legion as well as all of our veterans. The parade
begins at 1100. We will be meeting at the John Fuller Elementary School parking lot prior to the parade start.
Further details regarding UOD and time to meet prior to the parade will be clarified next week.
Uniforms CAPM 39-1 is the manual is the Civil Air Patrol Uniform Manual. Please remember that it is a
privilege and a responsibility to wear the USAF-style uniform. The standards that are expected when wearing
this uniform are out of respect for the USAF. Cadets are permitted to wear their USAF-style uniform to school
on the first Monday of the month. Other uniforms allowed by Civil Air Patrol should also be worn properly when
attending a CAP meeting or activity. It is each cadets responsibility to check the squadron website meeting
schedule to be sure they are wearing the proper uniform for a meeting. The uniform of the day (UOD) for a
special activity will be provided with the activity information. If a cadet has any questions about uniforms,
please speak with your chain of command.

New Hampshire Wing Winter Cadet Leadership Academy - Applications are now being accepted for the
Winter Leadership Academy, which includes an Encampment, NCOLS, and RCLS. It will be held at Fort
Devens, MA from 27 December through 3 January. Further information may be found by visiting the Academy
