MyUniSIM. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and
emails. This is supplemented with SOME face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component,
this will be administered on-campus.
Synopsis:
This course aims to introduce students to the field of Organizational Theory which incorporates ideas
and concepts from different disciplines to the study of organizations.
The business landscape is robust, dynamic and often challenging to businesses. Effective and
competent managers need to develop insight and intelligence of how the changing environment impacts
directly on organizational structure and design which, in turn, affects organizational effectiveness.
