THE NEW PHILOSOPHICAL PARADIGM

The article discusses the contents of a new scientific paradigm - a universal philosophy, which is a
synthesis between materialism and idealism, metaphysics. Draws attention to the relationship with
post non-classical science.
In the famous book, American physicist, philosopher Thomas Kuhn, The Structure of Scientific
Revolutions (1962) was reviewed by the combination of evolutionary and revolutionary step in
the development of science. For each epoch and for different scientific fields, operating in the same
epoch, Kuhn identified the dominant world view and methodology, called paradigm. Paradigms samples of solving various scientific problems and scientists are repelled from it when setting
problems, their study and solution. Paradigm - a reflection of scientific concepts at a certain stage of
history.
Philosophy, like any other form of social consciousness, is also influenced by conflicting and
opposing phenomena of tradition and modernism. If tradition is always refers to the past, based on
previous achievements, the modernist building on the tradition allows for the inevitable changes that
occur in life. Kuhn described the tradition as a scientific paradigm, which means the change of the
revolution in science and comes in the form of revolution.
The subject of the universal philosophy is the world as whole or the problem of the world totality.
Very different schools of mythology, philosophy, religion and science were busy with the solution of
this problem. Such special and big attention to the problem from the representations of different
schools and branches of science has its explanation in its central position in the building of world
outlook and value orientation of people in every epoch. In this solution were built very different
convictions, conceptions and philosophical partialities which were even dialectally opposite and
expelled one another. The most strong partialities and pluralistic tendencies were discovered in the
same philosophy. In the most general form they are concentrating around such expelled one another
philosophical directions as materialism and idealism, dialectics and metaphysics, universalism and
pluralism and so on.
The more pluralism, the more the necessity in the united universal method increases, as the truth is
one which can be understand in the unity of pluralism and universalism. The great possibilities of
such universal method to study Universe are opening by the development of such branch of science as
holography. It is a new branch of science which emerged in the last third of XX century in the period
of the fourth scientific revolution. To say more concrete the holographic method is a new stage in the
solution of the totality problems in all branches of science and first of all in the same philosophy. If in
the problem of totality the stress is on the two component construction in the relation between the part
and the whole, so in the holography the attention is in the first turn on the leading role of the third
component in this relation. This third component is the same totality. For holography the most
important is the determine role of the whole to the parts in organic systems.
The main holographic factor for the universe totality and for all its structural levels is the law of
the unity of the matter and spirit which is understood in the more broad plane of modern hylozoism as
the doctrine about universal animated matter. As a form of expression and as an equivalent measure of
animism in matter we can assume the energy-information process which has really universal
character. Three-unity holographic stream of the substance, energy and information is the most
universal matter-spirit process in the world in the holographic universe. It is in the same time the
ontological base for synthesis of materialism and idealism, metaphysics and dialectics, i.e. for the all
directions of philosophy. In the more general plane they are the aspects of information determinism.
The universal information property we can see in its two-unity nature as material and as ideal
phenomenon. By it in most intensive measure the organic unity of matter and spirit is expressed. In
such sense the information is the philosophical category. But in the same time to what division of
philosophy we can relate the concept of information? In the same time the information is the essence
of such metaphysical categories as super consciousness, super logics. They are extroversive and
transcendental, i.e. super physical metaphysical ones. In the literature are discussed three points

concepts as the main categories of metaphysical being and cognition. And in the same time they are
holographic ones, as in the two-component relation of the matter to the personal consciousness enter
the triad component which is individual and super rational, i.e. holographic in the form of super being,
super consciousness and super logics.
Without them it is not possible the synthesis of materialism and the idealism of dialectics and
metaphysics, of science and religion, of universalism and pluralism and so on. And without it the
expansion of today narrow horizons of philosophical materialistic world outlook builds without
metaphysics in the conditions of its negation. And the same is in the conditions of negation of
religious world outlook as antiscientific one.
In our days we yet discovered the works of Wilber Ken in which there is the determination
analogical to our one of the integral philosophy subject: The concepts integral, holistic can be
interpreted multifold. Most often with them are connected such tasks as to unite the matter, body,
mind, soul and spirit, i.e. to clear the disunity of the being. The physics as science is occurred by the
matter, biology by the vivid body, psychology by the soul, and the mystics by the direct spiritual
experience. Therefore the integral understanding of reality has its mission in physics, biology,
psychology, theology and mystics1. Ken Wilber is really under the integral philosophy understands
the integral consciousness, what is much narrower then the universal philosophy or metaphysics.
Nevertheless we entirely support his integral philosophy which is coincident with our philosophy of
the holographic universe.
Holography applies to Wave-information of any nature and any frequency band. It is used in
various fields of physics and engineering, particularly for pattern recognition, coding information,
acoustics, etc. However, the field of application of holography is much wider, as evidenced by the
work of at least Michael Talbot, The Holographic Universe (M.,2005). The basis of this book on
the hypothesis of two outstanding contemporary scholars - pioneers of quantum physicist David
Bohm, a student and follower of Einstein and the famous neurophysiologist Karl Pribram, author of
Languages of the brain.
They came to the conclusion that the whole material world - from snowflakes and electrons to
baobabs and shooting stars - not your own reality, and is the projection of the deep level of the
Universe. Universe - and it confirms some serious research - is a giant hologram, where even the
tiniest part of the image contains information about the big picture of life and where everyone, young
and old, interrelated and interdependent. According to many modern scholars and thinkers,
holographic model of the universe is one of the most promising pictures of reality available to us
today.
The most generalized data on evidence of a transpersonal superconsciousness as objective spirit,
therefore, and as an objective reality, and in this sense is identical with matter (the identity of matter
and consciousness) is contained in the works of Stanislav Grof Space game. Research frontiers of
human consciousness (Moscow, 2001), Michael Talbot, The Holographic Universe (Moscow,
2005), and others. Regarding the phenomena of transpersonal psychology, M.Talbot notes that such
evidence is found in the phenomenon in which the consciousness of the individual separates from the
physical body and capable of traveling. The so-called phenomenon of OBE perception (VTV) is
celebrated throughout history. This phenomenon has been known to the Egyptians, the North
American Indian, Chinese, Greek philosophy, medieval alchemists, the inhabitants of Oceania,
Hindus, Jews, and others. The phenomenon of parallel or, more precisely, the perception
paraletalnogo (PLV), in which people, doctors declared dead, then back to life. According to the
stories of those who lived through it, while this phenomenon is the dying leaves his body and goes to
a place that could be called after-life in the West, this phenomenon became known only in 1975,
when a psychiatrist and Ph.D., Raymond A. Moody published a book called Life After Death.
Superbeing phenomena and super relate to the world beyond, supernatural, paranormal, etc.,
denoted by one word - transcendence. Recognition of object sverhlogiki - supernatural, transcendent coincided with the transition of science to the study of phenomena more subtle world - quantum, on
the verge of material and ideal, objective and subjective. According to the authors of the theory of
physical vacuum, when considering the nature of consciousness as a specific manifestation of torsion

fields - material objects - it becomes apparent that consciousness itself is a material object. They
believe that from a physical point of view, consciousness is a special form field (torsion). Matter. As
is well known, Einstein was launched a program to create the unified field theory. He tried to open the
formula description of the world as a whole. Philosophical sense of the theory of physical vacuum is
to reveal the nature of emptiness, which is crucial in the formation of a unified picture of the world.In
this connection we wish to refer to the words of the transpersonal psychology creator and the hot
holography follower Stanislav Groff: As the revolution achievements of the modern science scatter
the magic of the archaic materialistic world outlook the contours of the new whole self understanding,
the nature and the whole self understanding, the nature and the Universe one reveals. We see
evidently that such new alternative approach to the being will unite the science and spirituality and
will carry in our technical world the important elements of ancient wisdom1.
Proponents of the convergence of science and metaphysics are the scientists of those areas of
physical knowledge, the subject of which is a virtual process: the physical vacuum, spin or torsion
field and other fields. This is a world of small quantities. There is a virtual world of large quantities:
astrophysical, cosmoplanet etc. It is invisible, the virtual world of subtle energies with mystical reason
and hue.
Therefore we can affirm that the subject of universal philosophy is the Universe the world as a
whole, constructed on the basis of the general system of principles. However, for dialectics such a
problem remains for all times an impossible object2 (F.Engels K.Marx and F.Engels Works.V. 20.
P.36) not only by virtue of the infinity of the universum and according to inexhaustibility of
knowledge, but also by virtue of heterogeneity of the universum its composition from the worlds
with different laws and different qualitative nature, whether it is the world of the starry sky, the world
of public relations or the world of elementary particles.
It has turned out, that dialectics has voluntary conceded the studying of the universum to
metaphysics which subject according to Bertran Russel is the world as the whole Metaphysics or
aspiration to comprehend the idea of the world as the whole comprehended with the help of
universals very clear general concepts abstract from concrete existence of things and people,
principles, forms and qualities of life.3
The modern science more and more enters into interaction with such nonclassical, not

information, intuition. In the history of philosophy there are brilliant traditions of organic combination
or connection of materialism and idealism. These traditions are connected, first of all.
With names of Aristotle and Espinosa, more exactly - with their development of the categories of a
substance, integrity, expediency, etc. The Substance of the world as the reason of the itself is
understood by them as the nature is the God, that is as the unity of matter and spirit, material and
ideal. The contents of the category of substance in Espinosa's works are deeply exposed in the article
of an outstanding Russian philosopher E.V.Iljenkov the Problem of life and thinking in before
Marx's philosophy, included in collective work of the Institute of philosophy of the Academy of the
Sciences of the USSR Dialectics is the theory of knowledge (M, 1964).
The matter and spirit are identical, as the consciousness is a complex matter by which all is
animated in the Universe. A turn of the modern West mentality to the East one we can explain with
the quality of holography of Eastern metaphysics and its peculiarity in relation to the Western one, the
latter is more analytic and discursive one. The Western thinking was developed historically more on
the dialectical way and against the metaphysical identity of matter and spirit, being and thinking.
Such are the sad results of one-sided and superfluous dialectical way of Western philosophy and
the policy of entirely recession from metaphysics, especially after the Middle Ages. Therefore it is
necessary the synthesis between East and West in the field of philosophy as well.

The convergent conception is identical and it is not identical to synthesis for it is only the moment
or the side of synthetic process. The convergent conception it is supposed at the synthesis, without it
this synthesis is impossible. But the same synthesis is more organic connection assuming connection
in the form of even the full merge of parts. Convergence, rapprochement of parts not is yet their
merge, their full synthesis. An indispensable condition of the convergence is the principle of parity,
equality of the cooperating sides. For example, dictatorship, a call of the West, its aspiration to unify
the world by all means only on its own sample causes reciprocal negative reaction, collision of
cultures and civilizations, their mutual alienation and tearing away.
All the matter is in the fact that the world is cannot exhaust and cannot be limited by only western
civilization, even because historically the marathon of the Homo sapiens from Africa all over again
has directed on the East, has reached Hindustan, and then has only turned on the West. So the West in
the civilization attitude is the phenomenon later and more marginal in relation to the East. Therefore it
cannot apply for a role of the senior hegemony in relation to another first of all including to the East.
The East is more ancient than the West and even therefore it is the thin business. The subtlety and
wisdom of the East there are in that it keeps better and conserves a culture code of the civilization
developments.
Dao as unity and convergence of a matter and spirit, as the convergent unity of In and Yang.
Therefore its progress has appeared slowed more down. And the West, having split not only atom, but
also the Logos as the convergent unity of a matter and spirit, has left forward more actively and more
quickly, but on a line of only material progress.
But in the XX century in the West begins the IV stage of the metaphysics Renaissance, described
in the very different schools of philosophy such as neothomism, realism, existentialism,
phenomenology, philosophy of science and so on. The heading authors in the Renaissance
metaphysics were Rene Guenon, K.G.Jung, B.Russel, N.Hartman, M.Heidegger and others. In the end
of XX-begin of XXI centuries outlines the following, fifth stage of the metaphysics Renaissance,
observing in Russia and UIS countries.
For the fifth stage of the universal philosophy is typical that it rests upon the investigation on
holography of the Universe and the data of the fourth scientific revolution of the last third of the XX
century, including the data of the global evolutionism1.
Universal philosophy is a new and not new one because it cannot be created without washed-up
forgotten in the West and in Russia metaphysics. The metaphysics not is a simple part of the New
Universal Philosophy, but builds its ground, on which all the other parts of the New Universal
Philosophy are based: dialectics, materialism and idealism. In it is signed the importance and meaning
of metaphysics.
