Indiana has the 17th highest drug overdose mortality rate in the United States. More than 9% of
Hoosiers abuse drugs; that is nearly 584,000 individuals. The number people affected by drugs
increases considering the ripple effect that drug abuse has on friends and families. Most people
dont know where to go for assistance because they are embarrassed or afraid to ask family
and friends. With your help, we can set Hoosiers on the right path.

Lucille Raines Residence (LRR) is a 3/4 house in downtown Indianapolis. LRR realizes the
importance of assisting Hoosiers who cant help themselves. We provide housing, and support
services for those who need it most. Lucille Raines Residence is dedicated to rebuilding lives,
and committed to addiction recovery. We stress that help is a hand up, not a hand out. WISHTV is the perfect outlet to spread Lucille Raines message to the Indianapolis community.

A partnership with Lucille Raines Residence will increase our ability to spread hope for those
who need help. We ask that WISH-TV air a human interest story monthly or bimonthly featuring
a testimony of a current or past resident of Lucille Raines. This will not only increase awareness
of Lucille Raines but also further demonstrate that WISH-TV cares about the community.
