FRANK STRONACH THE

BEGINNING
Born in Austria on September 6th 1995, Frank apprenticed as a tool and die
maker. Later leaving his homeland 4 years later to Switzerland as a machinist. In
1954 he became Frank Stronach as his original last name (Strohsack) was to
difficult to pronounce. After a series of odd jobs he later opened his own shop in
the late 1950s. In 1959 he received his first contract for auto parts, a door bracket
contract for industry monolith GM. In 1969 he merged his company with Magna
Electronics Corp. In full control of the new company Magna International Ltd.
His company grew rapidly with the big 3 American car companies creating
thousands of Canadian jobs.

RE-BUILDING HIS EMPIRE

Rewarding managers and employees in successful plants, Magna increased rapidly
in size during the 1970s. By 1984 it operated 43 Canadian plants. By this time Frank
was a multimillionaire and magna was a major company in the fragile Canadian
Automotive sector. After failing to gain a seat for the liberals to de rail the Canada
U.S. Free Trade agreement, his empire was falling. But after closing and selling plants,
he re built his empire to what it is today. Frank not only created thousands of
Canadian jobs, but saved them. To this day Magna has 3 plants in Belleville creating

hundreds of jobs to the local Belleville and surrounding area. Frank is a true Canadian
hero to many job seekers of the past, and present and im sure the future too.

THE GREATER CANADIAN

Frank Stronarch (Strohsack) proved to be the greater Canadian. That is
because of the thousands possibly even millions of jobs that he created merging
his company with Magna and Creating Magna International LTD. Even after
losing his empire he soon after rebuilt it bigger and better creating even more jobs
for Canadians. Just in Belleville alone he owns 3 Magna International plants
creating so many jobs locally around the Belleville area. Where as Bertha Wilson
may have made a spot in law for women Frank proved to be the greater Canadian

in the end. Frank is a true Canadian job seeker hero.
