BIG COMPOSITION
So far this semester you have learned the basic guidelines for
composing melodies and chord progressions. This composition will
use all the skills you should have acquired by this point.

Your task: Compose a melody using the following criteria:

Length: 16 to 18 measures
Time signature: 4/4
Key signature: C major
Note/rest values: Eighths and larger
Dotted notes and triplets are okay

Print your composition and label the following by hand:

Chords (Roman numerals) and key

Non-chord tones
Cadences
Accompaniment styles
Motive
