Start of Lesson:
Students to sit into their groups
Teacher will number the students in each
group; this number will then represent the role
they have been allocated.
Body of Lesson:
All groups to have an iPad and Laptop/PC if
there are iPads available for 3 per group this
would be beneficial
In their teams, students log onto the year 10
netball SEPEP weebly site and explore roles,
the apps allocated with those roles, teachers
page (why theyre involved in the SEPEP
program, its benefits), and become familiar
with all other information on the website
Teams to use iPads and Laptops/PCs
between them to access the appropriate apps
Teacher to give assistance and help learners
when needed (teacher needs to have
experience and knowledge on all apps)

the confirmation of rules within the tournament,
then students will be able to get into groups to

The first 10-15 minutes will be a discussion
with the whole class
Teacher will confirm the rules of netball, and
speak about the tournament structure and how
the next 5 weeks will run smoothly
Teacher will touch on student roles
Body of Lesson:
Students separate into teams
Teams will have 25 minutes to discuss team
tactics, strategies, and skill progressions.
They will have access to netballs, bibs, and
iPads (the teacher will bring iPads to the gym
at least 1 per group)
Students are to have even part of the court
and take notes throughout their session.
This time presents the opportunity for the
coach can utilize their roles and apps.
Conclusion of Lesson:
Ask students if they all understand what is
needed from them in the coming weeks
Remind students that the tournament
commences next week and the appropriate
attire is essential
