Carmencita M. Abaquin is a nurse with a Masters Degree in Nursing from

the University of the Philippines College of Nursing where she served as a
faculty member and a secretary of the UP College of Nursing.

She is an expert in Medical-Surgical nursing and Oncologic

Nursing. Thus her focuses are regarding these subjects.

She developed the PREPARE ME theory that is concerned about

Hoslitic nursing Interventions to address the problems of a cancer patient.
