paraprofessionals, student support staff, and an administrator
Kick-Off Event/Invitation presented at staff meeting
Guiding Questions (Identification, Communication, Culture, Participation, and
Parent Education
Study Teams formed to answer questions
Essential participation opportunities (Meet & Greet, Curriculum Night,
Conferences, Open House)
For Meet & Greet: Strengthening communication, Lunch & Learn, Friendly
Faces in place to assist families, & Connecting with classroom teachers.
Collecting Data to evaluate Events (survey)
Planning for Curriculum Night, Conferences, & Open House
Looking Ahead: Once relationships are formed, then what? How can we
connect parents with their childs academic life at school?
