Specifically, we recived information and have confirmed tha the following activities occurred at new member education activities: Force alcohol consumption, Personal servitude; ‘Acts of physical violence and forced physical activities; Road Trip to Auburn University where numerous acts of theft occured, including several high value items from a tailgate and a fraternity cemposite from an Auburn University fratemity house; ‘+ Restrictions of meals during the week of Initiation ‘+ Expectation to reside atthe faterity house and psrticipate in activities during the week preceding Initiation that significantly interfere with academic and psychological well- being; ‘+ Situation created where new members stood in a very hot steam environment fora long duration of time and resulted in undo physical stress, ‘Instances of hazing as outlined in Policy Statemen’ 108 Based on the aforementioned information, the Acacia Fratemity chapter at Louisiana State University is being charged with violations of the Louisiana State University Policy Statements 78, 108 and the Louisiana State University Code of Student Conduct.
