Description of Lesson: Students will create 3-demensional drawings from
looking at 3-demensional objects like cereal boxes and snack boxes. After a
demonstration on drawing 3-demensional drawings, students will make 3
separate drawings on the same piece of paper using the same 3demensional box from 3 separate angles.
Lesson Title: Drawing 3D on a 2D plane

3-demensional objects (cereal boxes, snack boxes, etc.)

Prerequisites (Prior Knowledge):

Social: Students should be able to work quietly, avoiding distracting other


classmates. Students should be able to share materials without having issues.
Cognitive: Students should be able to understand what is taught and apply it to
their work. Students should be able to see the PowerPoint Presentation and take
notes accordingly.
Physical: Students should be able to use all materials properly and safely. Students
should be able to keep up with the rest of the class and stay on topic.
Emotional: Students should be able to work separately on their own work without
copying or getting offended by others.

Procedures:
Instructor will have a PowerPoint presentation for students as well as a
demonstration on drawing 3-demensional objects.
Students will use a 3-demensional object as a model in their drawing.
Students will complete 3 different drawings of the same 3-demensional
object on the same sheet of paper but from three different perspectives.
Students will be encourage to color or shade their drawing before turning it
in.
Accommodations:

To accommodate for students who may have a harder time focusing or


concentration, I will be sure to check on them throughout the lesson. By walking by
their desk and looking at their work, I will be able to see if they are keeping up and
following along. For students who may work quicker than the rest, I will be sure to
keep an eye on them and make sure they are doing their work correctly.
