PENDAHULUAN
Pada manusia, sel-sel darah merah memiliki fungsi fisiologis yaitu mengangkut oksigen
dan zat-zat makanan ke dalam jaringan dan membawa sisa-sisa metabolisme dan karbondioksida
untuk diekskresikan. Kekurangan zat-zat yang diperlukan untuk perkembangan sel darah merah
akan memberikan berbagai gejala pada manusia.
PRASYARAT
Untuk menguasai topik ini, mahasiswa harus terlebih dahulu mengetahui :

Pembentukan dan perkembangan sel-sel darah merah

Sitologi sel-sel darah merah
Fisiologi sel-sel darah merah
Metabolisme vitamin B12 dan asam folat yang berhubungan dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sel darah merah
