FIRST CONFESSION PREPARATION CLASSES BEGIN SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 AT 10:30 A.M.
First Confession will be celebrated in our parish for children ages 7 and older on Saturday March 28 (Lazarus
Saturday). In order to prepare to receive this sacrament, the children must attend the preparation classes on Sundays at
10:30 a.m. on Feb.: 8, 22, Mar.: 1, 8, 15, and 22. Children must also attend the Divine Liturgy on these days. Please do
not be late.
INDIVIDUAL CONFIDENTIAL CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS FOR 2014
Please fill out the 2014 Contribution Request form (place in any collection or give to an usher) or email us at

CHURCH CHOIR
Love to sing? Then the Church Choir NEEDS YOU! You need not audition - just come and sing - and no need to
be able to read Ukrainian, since all of our scores have transliterations. Now is a perfect time to join, as the choir starts to
prepare in earnest for the May 31 Washington DC premiere of the Divine Liturgy 3 (in English) by Ukrainian-Canadian
composer Roman Hurko. Please come to any rehearsal (weekly on Sundays between liturgies), or when you hear the choir
sing, just come up to the loft and give it a try - you will be welcomed with open arms. The near-term schedule is: 18
Jan 11:30 (Ukrainian service), 25 Jan 10:15 rehearsal only, 01 Feb 9:00 (English service), 08 Feb 10:15 rehearsal only.
UPDATING OUR PRAYER LIST AND VISITATION OF THE SICK OR HOMEBOUND LIST
With the New Year coming, we would like to update our Prayer List. If you have someone to add, please let Fr.
Robert or Fr. Wasyl know. Also, if there is someone from our parish who needs to be visited by the priests, please let Fr.
Wasyl or Fr. Robert know. These visits are for those who are sick or who are unable to come to church because of being
elderly and unable to travel or who are unable to leave the house.
