4) As explained in question 3, I expect students to use the two suggested data bases for
their research information mapping. When students are collecting their information from
various sources and organizing it in a clear, coherent manner on their designated page
located on the class wiki page, or their own Storify page, they are expected to include a
bibliography with their final project. In order to avoid projects with a variety of sources,
but no organized bibliography that provides specific details about the sources author,
date of publication, where the student located the information from, I will instruct
students to create a citation for each source that they include on their wikipage/Storify
page. In order for students to construct this bibliography, they will be instructed to
copy/paste, or type in the information needed on the academic data base Easybib,
which creates bibliographies for its users once the proper information about a source has
been filled out within the sites features. Once students visit a site and determine its
validity/usefulness for the argument he or she is going to present from the role of an
expert about the topic, they must create a citation for the source using Easybib, which
they will construct by visiting Easybib.com and filling in the required fields on the site
that will result in a bibliography citation. The result of Easybibs citation generator will
be copy/pasted onto the students Storify page or wikipage underneath the information
they gathered from the source in order to streamline the information they gathered
through their research.
