I believe we should choose this topic for our CIP project because each person in my group participates or has participated in sports during their lifetimes. We all have found sports and physical activities to be very influential to the development of our lifestyles and our personalities since the time we were children. I have found, from speaking with and learning about my group members, that we are all very interested in this topic and topics similar to this one. This being said, I believe we will all enjoy learning about and researching this topic to our full potential and creating the best final CIP project we can.
We could execute and present our project by using multiple ways of
presentation. We could use a Prezi, which is a very effective way of keeping people involved throughout the entire project presentation. We could also do speeches because we all have our own testimonies about our involvement in sports and how it has shaped us a people. A survey would also be a useful genre for us to use to bring the importance of sports into perspective for our audience. I believe that this topic would be easiest to present in the form of linguistic and visual multimodal designs. Each member of my group is vastly interested in physical activities and it is a large part of who each of us is as a person. This, in itself, is enough to motivate and inspire us to perform and create our CIP to the best of our abilities. The psychological and physical aspects or themes that is spoken of in each of these articles/texts above are very interesting to me and a very positively spoken of aspect of our sport-related topic.
