Angelo George Cassar, my grandfather, was born in Malta and

moved to the U.S in the 1930s when he was in his younger
twenties.

My dad, along with his brothers, worked at the apartment
buildings after school, on the weekends and in the summers

was younger and eventually could take over the business

In 1996 the Cassars sold the Detroit properties
