Research artists like Vincent Van Gogh,
Rembrandt, Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Chuck
Close, Vivian Maier, Pablo Picasso, and David
Hockney and the types of portraits and selfportraits they have created.
Look at the method used to create the work and
decide what kind of method you will use to create
your self-portrait.
What will your inspiration be?
Step 2: Finalize your project size
18x18 inches is recommended but size is of your
choice.
Step 3: Choose your medium
What medium or mediums will you choose to
create your selfie?
Step 4: Begin creating your project.
Will you use a grid system to help layout your
selfie?
What will this self-portrait say about you as an
artist?
Will other things be included in the self-portrait?
How will your self-portrait scream you and your
personality?
Step 5: Fill out Rubric and answer reflections
