Activities:
Lets start with a review from last class. What is conditional? (Student can explain in
English). This is a brief review.
*With more time* Split class into four groups and each group provides options to the
different answers. Students ideas can remain written on the board for the class to
choose as they are developing their skits. Because we have less time in the mini-lesson,
we have provided a handout. If you have more time, encourage students to think of
different responses.
Separate class into groups of 4. One person will be the asker and the other three will be
responding. Put the class into groups and let them write and practice their conversations.

Extensions:
If students want to practice more than just je and tu/vous form, they can also add in and opportunity to mention
what il/elle want and compare themselves to the other datees.
Groups can add their own questions and create their own answers
Encourage new vocabulary. Encourage students to use new vocabulary and different tenses.
Can create themes and add cultural components (One group has a Quebec theme and they have to respond with
places to go on dates in Quebec, Quebec foods; or ParisParisian foods, places in Paris, etc)
Do not provide any questions or answers, students have to develop their own skits from scratch with no initial guiding
questions.
Adaptations:
With more time, students can create a video if they are nervous
