Students should expect to sing everyday. Each class will include warm-ups, sightreading, and practicing literature. While students are invited to participate in
several extra choral events, the only required/graded events are the Fall, Winter,
and Spring concerts. Dates for these concerts will be published as soon as they are
available.
Choir Fees:
While there are currently no fees associated with choir, all students performing with
the choir outside of the required concerts (nursing home visits, homecoming, etc)
must purchase a choir t-shirt. They are $12. Ms. Braun will take orders at the
beginning of each grading term. T-shirts will not change from year to year, so it is
something that can be work all four years at PCHS. Students who purchased a Tshirt last year do not need to purchase a new one this year. All other concert attire
will be provided by the school.
Every effort is made to provide students with original copies of their choral music to
adhere to copyright laws. This is costly, but necessary. Students will be assigned a
folder number with music numbered accordingly at the beginning of the trimester.
These folders will be just like a textbook. Students are responsible for any lost or
damaged folders and music. The cost of replacing a folder is $25.
