Re-examining your Learning Goals and Objectives


As a result of identifying education technology to use in your Final Project Lesson Module, have
your learning goals deepened? Do you need to rework or add learning objectives to better align
to your learning goals?
The exposure to new education technology has prompted re-evaluation of the tools that we could
use to collaborate on and present information; thus, learning objective have hidden agenda that
may lead learners astray from the learning objectives. Constant evaluation of progress towards
achieving the objective of finding what Web 2.0 tools fit our needs made the element of
discovery of new Web 2.0 tools an emergent theme of the training process in addition to the
continuous process of analyzing the effectiveness of the tools we already employ.
Briefly describe all the education technology tools you are using in your Final Project
modules and provide the latest version of your learning objectives.
The following technology will be used for the Final Project at this point of its creation:
PbWorks: Web 2.0 websoite that allows filing and paging with text and visual display
capabilities. Used in this training module compilation as a venue for collaboration by business
associates and members of EDU 649 at Ashford Univerrsity online course.
You Tube- audiovisual software provided by Google which contain videos made by anonymous
users with embed, share capabilities on various subjects.
Blogger- Google software which may be used as a web blogging venue for sharing/collaborating
various types of information
Skype- Social networking software with audiovisual and text messaging capabilities
Adobe Creative suite- multimedia software with extensive graphic capabilities
Microsoft Power Point=Slide share software with text, graphic/video embedding and sharing
capabilities
Updated Overall Learning Objectives:
After researching and documenting the uses of Web 2.0 technology in business
learners will be able to extract useful information/data and revise the information
through post and edits to Pb Works website as a four member group collaborsation
and in turn share the information with EDU 649 class members for review and
feedback.
