In the classroom, Michelles performance is remarkable because she invests herself in knowing her students and
developing positive relationships with them and their parents, and then constructing instructional plans that center on

Camino Seguro, Safe Passage, Guatemala City, Guatemala (2007)
o Taught basic English language skills to native Spanish-speaking 2-5 year old children
o Assisted classroom teacher in supervision of students, including instruction of basic hygiene
