A Premium Wax/Resin for use on Flathead Printers

APR 6 is a highly sensitive premium wax resin ribbon


designed to give excellent printing performance at low
energy.
It can be printed on a wide range of substrates with the
same level of performance. The ink provides excellent
printing quality for all types of barcodes, very small
text, large characters and logos, at a blackness above
2.1 ODR.

APR 6 features Armors outstanding back coat
technology, ensuring excellent printhead protection,
preventing clogging and static build-up.
The ribbon has been designed to create a very low level
of noise while being printed and is available inside and
outside wound.

The ribbon structure allows printing on a wide range


of receptors, such as uncoated and coated papers and
synthetics.
The printed image offers a good level of smudge
resistance combined with heat resistance up to 100C
(212F). Those characteristics remain at speeds up
to 300 mm/s (12 ips), and with 200, 300 and 600 DPI
printheads, making this ribbon perfectly adapted to the

Ames Test: The ribbon is not mutagenic, does not cause DNA modifications.
TSCA: The ribbon does not contain any of the toxic substances mentioned in this list.
RoHs/WEEE: EC directives 2002/95 and 2002/96. The compliance to the limitation of dangerous
substances in electrical equipment.
EC Directives: 1994/45/EC, 2001/59/EC, 1935/2004/EC (food contact). The ribbon does not
contain any substances classified as dangerous for health.
