WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN?

He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin.
Malachi 2:6
The life of a Christian should prove that he walks with God? Others
should see the fingerprints of the Spirit in what that person says and
does. The ultimate test, God says, is that their life of peace and
uprightness will automatically turn others from sin. Not because they
have accumulated knowledge and browbeat others mercilessly
with it. No, those who are in relationship with a true Christian will
automatically want to walk closer to Christ because of the remarkable
peacefulness that characterizes his life.
A Christian's life should inspire others, starting with his immediate
family. Those around him should feel like they are consistently in the
presence of Jesus. Is it possible for a man to be saved but never know
Jesus? This is a difficult question and one that should cause us to do
some soul searching. Most importantly, I personalize this today and
implore God to continue to change my heart. Does my life pull others
from the practice of sin? Do others feel the presence of the Prince of
Peace when they spend time with me? Oh, that my legacy one day will
read - "She walked with God."
Knowledge without relationship is a dangerous thing. May my Christian
education be 'informed love' for my Savior. May all I know and teach drip
with humility, peace, and quiet joy. Amen
