approaching from the South Coast, which is the Pacific Basin. Okinawa
being near the equator, it receives direct sunlight, making its tropical
sea warm with low density and low wind force, causing an air upward
motion and convection. Typhoons usually occur in belts North and
South of the equator. Since this island is one of the Southernmost
Japanese cities, it's hit very frequently. Also, these three typhoons
seem to occur mostly in the Fall season. Tropical cyclones in the
Southern Hemisphere happen during October until May. Residents
should always be on the lookout for land and sea typhoon warnings,
especially on these months.

Regional Map
This is the regional map of Japan. The heavier typhoon is coming
from the East China Sea, moving into lesser strength heading towards
the center with a tropical depression, picking back up towards the
North Pacific Ocean. This is because of the different temperatures in
each area. The warmer currents are coming from the opposite sides,
while the middle typhoon gradually becomes stronger as it approaches
the South. A solution is knowing a households or areas vulnerability
during the hazard.

Global Scale Map

This is the global scale map of the hurricane patterns in East
Asia. The three heavier hurricanes are concentrated on the center, and
it becomes less severe as it spreads out. The current may be warmer in
this area, hence the most atmospheric activity. A solution would be
determining escape routes, emergency plans or having specific meet
up spots when danger occurs.
