Lesson plan description

As a warm up to introduce the topic, teacher will project a


memory game on the board for students to play.
Next, teacher will show a video that presents different verbs and
their past form.
After that, students will work individually on their computers.
They will play a game that starts with a video explaining how
past tense is formed. It presents some examples and two
exercises.
Then, students will play the wheel game. In this game students
spin the wheel and answer with the correct past form of the verb.

Instructions

We will play a memory game, each one of you is going to


take a turn to match the cards.

2. Now, we will watch a video. Please pay attention to the


past tense of the verbs.
3. Please go to your computer, log into the platform, In
library, you will find a document labeled past tense .

Reflection

The lesson worked well. Students really enjoyed the memory


game. It was a nice way to introduce the topic.
They were engaged practicing past tense. In addition they were
challenged to match more pairs than their classmates.
Technology do contribute to engage students in their learning
process.
However, technology also has some drawbacksDD. In this
opportunity students had some difficulties with activity No. 1. It
seems internet was slow. The video was not running properly

and the audio was not working in some computers.


It is important for teachers to have a backup plan to face any
situation that may show up.
