CONCLUSION

Native Americans are an important part of our history, and

thusly it impacts us today. As you have moved through this
WebQuest you should have learned new things about the 3
Native American tribes. Furthermore, you should now be
able to write about both fact and fiction together, while
telling them apart. You can explore and learn more about
all of this using the websites that are on this WebQuest.
Things like learning more Native American words, or even
exploring other tribes would be very interesting to look at!

With guided instruction and internet research,
students will learn and explore the culture and

separate fact from fiction.

Algonquian, Delaware, Potawatomi and Wyandotte
This is introduced through web research

3.1.7Distinguish between fact and fiction in historical

accounts by comparing documentary sources on
historical figures and events with fictional characters
and events in stories.

Learned through classroom discussion and web

research/reading

What was my Process?

Native American history and culture contains many facts about

history that are very important. Working through this activity begins
with a guessing game of sorts and moves into independent research
and exploration.
First, I found an interesting and vital standard for the lessons and
Webquest to build off of.
Second, I found resources and websites online that were age
appropriate and educationally relevant.
Finally, I created a WebQuest which correlates my research,
standards, and creativity into one project.
