GoalsandObjectives

Withinthisunit,studentswillbeexpectedtoachievefivemajorobjectives:communicative,

spiritual,community,culture,andcontent.Thesefiveobjectiveshavebeencreatedbasedonfourbasic
criterion.Firsty,theyarestructuredtomeetthecultureandexpectationsofSouthChristianHighSchool.
Bydesigningspiritualandcommunitydrivenobjectivesforthisunit,Ihopetomeetthehighschools
specificemphasisonservicelearningandfaithexplorations.Secondly,theyaredesignedtodirectly
connectwithinMrs.KateAvilaschapter3unitplanofSpanishII.Bydesigningcompatiblematerialsto
herclassroomstyle,procedures,andexpectations,theobjectivesarecreatedtocoincidedirectlywithMrs.
KateAvilascourseandchapterobjectives.Thirdly,thefiveobjectivesofthisunitaredesignedtofulfill
thefivemaincriterionstatedbytheWorldLanguageStandardsofthestateofMichigan.Thus,thestate
standardsforcommunication,culture,connections,comparisons,andcommunitiesbasedwithinthe
NoviceHighlevelwillbealignedwithintheunitobjectives.Fourthly,theseobjectiveswillalsobe
connectedtostatestandardsforEnglishLanguageArtsandLiteracybasedontheCommonCore
Standardsaswellstatestandardsfortechnology.Ultimately,theunitsobjectiveswillcollectivelyaddress
BloomsTaxonomybyestablishinggoalswithinthecognitive,physicaldevelopment,andsocioemotional
demands.
